just a reminder that today is a NTI day for Hardin County Schools. All google meets are optional and are there if your student needs help or has questions.
There are also two google meet times for all teachers in case one time does not work.

Due to the recent change over to our new Librarian, Mrs. Thoma, our website does not have correct NTI information. Please use the instructions from your child's teacher on this app. Students will complete Day 1 of their NTI work and Google Meets are available if you need assistance, but are not mandatory. As always, you can email teachers as well. If you have any questions you can also reach out to the admin team! Be safe and enjoy your day.
The registration period has been extended!
Families will read The One and Only Ivan at their own pace between November and February. There will be optional activities such as a coloring contest, a drawing contest, and ideas for family projects. Students can complete summaries with illustrations of each chapter to display on a school bulletin board inside our library. When you register, you will receive an optional reading response journal to complete as a family. In February, we are planning a family movie night to watch The One and Only Ivan together! Look for more information in upcoming issues of Vine Grove Views!

Tuesday will be hat for a $1 donation that will help McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Program. Students can turn their $1 in that day to their homeroom teacher.
As Thanksgiving approaches, we would like to celebrate our staff with notes of gratitude. If you would take a moment to recognize a staff member (or as many as you like) on the form below, we would appreciate it. The forms will be turned into a Thanksgiving memo and given to the staff member before break.

This month we are pausing on Portrait of a Learner spotlights, but we still want to recognize some special Trojans. So for the next few weeks we are recognizing students who have a Heart of Gold! These students treat others with kindness, see the good in everything, show gratitude, and put other’s before themselves. While there are many deserving of this award, here are our first 5 students! 💙
