It's game day at the Grove! We are looking for max Google Meet seating sold out. Tickets are free for VGE students. Kick off will be at 2pm, with gates opening at 1:45pm (the link will be sent then)! You won't want to miss the halftime show featuring Lundy and the Ladies.

Hello everyone,
We are excited to share that we will be hosting several fun Google Meets for every grade level tomorrow! We have Super Bowl–themed activities, Pets Day, Kahoots, Blookets, and many other engaging activities planned.
Please encourage your child to join the two Google Meets scheduled for their grade level. Students may use a phone, iPad, or any computer to access the Google Meet links.
If your child completes all NTI work, they will receive a ticket to our treat cart and a hot chocolate party. In addition, classes with more than 50% student participation in Google Meets will earn House Points, which help them work toward winning a large quarterly prize.
Your participation and support are greatly appreciated. We truly miss our students and want to ensure everyone is doing well during this winter weather. Mrs. Mabe, Mr. Lundy, and I will have a special Google Meet at 2:00. We will post the link tomorrow at 1:45. You won't want to miss it!
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at ashley.cockriel@hardin.kyschools.us.
Thank you for your continued support!

Good evening families,
I hope this message finds you safe, warm, and well during the winter storm.
Due to the weather, tomorrow and Tuesday will be NTI days. All students have received additional days of NTI assignments in their folder. Teachers will also be available throughout the day (at designated times) via Google Meet to support students who may need help with their work. Google Meet links can be found in the Apptegy app or on our school website.
If you need specific help prior to the meetings, you can email your child's teacher or reach out to me at Ashley.cockriel@hardin.kyschools.us
Please take care, enjoy the next few days, and stay safe. We look forward to seeing everyone back soon.
💙Mrs. Cockriel
Save the date for our STEM family night!

As we begin making preparations for the possible winter weather coming this weekend, we wanted to post some resources in case you need them. If you need help with food or preparations please contact our FRC Coordinator, Mrs. Ovesen, tomorrow! 💙

Sorry for the late message, but we wanted families to have this information before morning. Please see the graphic for important info regarding our 2 hour delay.

Hello Vine Grove Elementary families,
This is Assistant Principal Jeremy Lundy. There was an increased police presence during afternoon pickup today. I want to provide some context and reassurance.
Earlier today, we became aware of a domestic issue. Out of an abundance of caution, we requested additional law enforcement support to ensure the afternoon transition was as smooth and secure as possible. There is no direct threat to the school. We believe it is always better to be proactive when it comes to the safety of our students and staff.
We are incredibly grateful for our School Resource Officer and local law enforcement for their dedication. Our campus is secure, and we look forward to seeing all our students at school tomorrow morning.
